Ben Sheaf joined the Sky Blues on a season-long-loan from Arsenal ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, before making his move permanent the following season.

Sheaf began his career with West Ham, before departing for Arsenal and then eventually signing his first professional deal in 2015.

He made his debut for Arsenal in October 2017, appearing in the Gunners Europa League victory at Red Star Belgrade.

The defensive midfielder Sheaf spent the 2019/20 campaign at Doncaster Rovers where he made 38 appearances and scored 1 goal and had a previous loan spell at Stevenage.

Sheaf then linked-up with the Sky Blues for the 2020/21 season, slotting into the midfield, making 32 appearances, impressing with Mark Robins moving to make his switch permanent.

The midfielder kicked on after his summer switch and established himself as a key man in the midfield, making a further 37 appearances, scoring his first goals for the club against Birmingham City.
